The Livestrong program is very important. If there is any way that it can be supported, please support it. Everyone is there for the same reason. We either had or have cancer. We all were there to exercise, to live longer. In the class everyone formed a bond. That kind of bond is tough, you don’t find that everyplace. The camaraderie is very important.
I can’t say enough about the instructors. On a scale of 10, Chris and Ann were a 20. So understanding, they recognize your abilities or lack of abilities and work towards that.
The person who told me about the program – we talk every other day. Same way with the other participants. We go to lunch -10 people go to lunch and talk. You just don’t find that. You hear that saying “you’re not alone.” When you are in a class with other people fighting cancer, you know you are not alone, and that makes you stronger.
