Updated Outdoor Pickleball Courts

The newly updated outdoor pickleball courts are ready for play! Features include new asphalt, lights, and a professional, acrylic playing surface. Get ready to grab your paddles and experience the upgrade firsthand!

Courts will be available Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Introducing Kids’ Club!

YMCA Kids’ Club provides a secure, engaging space for children ages 6 weeks to 11 years while parents enjoy YMCA facilities. Available at most YMCA of Delaware locations, Kids’ Club offers fun activities tailored to every age group. Kids’ Club is a free service for members with Adult Plus Children memberships. Enjoy up to 2 hours of care per day—an incredible value of up to 60 hours of childcare each month, worth more than $900 per child!

The Great Human Race 5K & International Food Festival

Join us for the Western Family YMCA‘s Fourth Annual Great Human Race 5K at 10am, followed by our International Food Festival in partnership with the West Wilmington Seventh Day Adventist Church. This event is a celebration of what unites us as a community. Plus, enjoy a variety of foods from around the world, and entertainment for the entire family including special global performances, moon bounce, and more!

The YMCA Mission Market at the Central YMCA is a free store open to the community, designed to combat hunger and support those in need. The Market offers shelf-stable and frozen food, clothes, and more—thanks to donations from our amazing local community members and partners.

High School Youth In Government

The Youth in Government (YIG) Program offers model legislative and judicial experiences for youth in grades 6 –12. Students learn by doing and have the opportunity to try their hand at leadership in an open and receptive learning environment. Complete an Interest Form here!
